FAQs

Everything you need to know.

What is SSI?

Plus icon

Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) is a decentralised approach to digital identity management, allowing individuals to own, control, and share their personal data securely without relying on intermediaries. It ensures privacy, security, and compliance through blockchain technology.

Why does SAPIO use SSI?

Plus icon

We use SSI because it provides a portable, immutable, and easily verifiable digital identity solution. Unlike traditional systems tied to centralised databases, SSI allows users to securely carry their credentials. It ensures data integrity with blockchain and enables instant verification without intermediaries.

How secure is blockchain?

Plus icon

Blockchain is inherently secure, using advanced cryptography and decentralisation to protect data. While all technology carries some risk, our system is designed to minimise vulnerabilities by leveraging industry-leading standards and continuous monitoring. With blockchain, your information is immutable, tamper-proof, and safe from unauthorised access.

Is SAPIO easy to use?

Are the Credentials exchangeable?
